I have researched from how music videos came into existence, to how they are viewed now, which helped me understand the purpose of music videos and also how my music video would be viewed. For example, the popularity of YouTube as a platform for viewing niched genre music videos means my video will be able to reach it's niche audience without expensive TV air time.
